2. What this service is
GEOmetrix is a free tool that analyses a web page for classic SEO and for GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and checks whether the page is cited by AI search engines. It is provided for informational purposes only.
3. Personal data we collect
- Email address you enter to receive the report.
- URL you submit for analysis, and the website domain and detected page language.
- Country (selected by you and/or derived from your IP address).
- IP address and request metadata, used for security and abuse prevention (rate limiting).
- Analysis results (SEO/GEO scores) associated with your request.
- Marketing consent status and timestamp.
4. Why we process your data and legal bases
- To provide the analysis and email you the report — performance of the service you requested / your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)–(b) GDPR).
- To send commercial updates about Ingenium Project plugins, at most one email per month — only with your separate, optional consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time.
- To prevent abuse and ensure security (rate limits per IP/email) — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Providing marketing consent is optional and is never a condition for using the tool or receiving your report.
5. AI citation check & transparency on results
To check whether AI engines cite your page, we generate a realistic question about your topic (derived from your page, not your brand name) and send it to Perplexity AI via its API. We then check whether your domain appears among the cited sources.
The results are unaltered. As a rule, we report exactly what Perplexity returns — its answer and its sources — without modifying, editing or curating them. We only analyse the response (e.g. detect whether your domain is cited). Results are automated, may vary over time and are provided without warranty of accuracy or completeness.
6. Recipients and processors
- Perplexity AI (United States) — receives the generated question to perform the citation check.
- Email delivery provider [●] — to send the report and updates.
- Hosting/infrastructure provider [●].
Some providers may be located outside the EU/EEA (e.g. the United States). In such cases transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your personal data.
7. Retention
Leads and related data are kept until you ask us to delete them or withdraw consent, and in any case no longer than necessary for the purposes above 24 months of inactivity. Security logs are kept for a limited period.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing).
